The Corwin-Rey Agency was started in 2004 by Renee’ Corwin-Rey in Centralia, Wa. Some of you may have been clients of her Dad, Pete Corwin, who sold his portion of his business to Renee’ in 2008. Pete was an agent for over 30 years and was a strong community leader in Centralia during his years as a business owner. Renee’ expanded her business in 2009, by opening a satellite office in Longview. In April of 2014 Renee worked with Glen Grant, a Farmers agent for 58 years, and bought his agency on Ocean Beach Hwy in Longview.
Some of our clients may have started their Farmers experience with another agent, but Renee’ and her staff are happy you are part of the Corwin-Rey Agency. There are still two office locations. One in Centralia, at 1307 Harrison Ave, and the other in Longview, at 805 Ocean Beach Hwy. The Corwin-Rey team consists of 8 full time staff members between the two locations.
There are many advantages to having a large staff, and we hope you are able to see all of the conveniences available to you because of this. I am excited to introduce you to our staff members in the next blog post so you can put some faces to names and their specialties.
It has come to our attention that some clients have a hard time ‘finding’ us. Either our phone number, address, or just simply our email address. We are listed on all of the online directories, our phone number should be on all of the evidence of insurance you have in your vehicles, and you can always refer back to this document for all of our contact information.
We have made some changes to our telephone system, because of all of the staff and choices there are when calling us. If you do call us and get our voicemail, please leave a message, as we have no way of knowing you called if you don’t. Also, we all have direct extensions, so there is no need to listen to a long recording at the beginning of the call. Our practice is to not answer the phone if we are busy with another customer, because we feel the people that are sitting in front of us are our priority.
We pride ourselves in our great customer service, and having an amazing team working for us is what makes us such a successful agency. We have been named in the top 1% of all Farmers agencies in the nation for the past 8 years, and we are very proud of that. Renee continues to be involved in the community, and encourages her staff to also be involved as much as possible.
So, whether you are an original client of Renee’s, you started with another agent, or one of her amazing staff members have brought you on as a client, we are excited you are part of our agency.
